The 8.6 Blackout Custom Build

There was a lot of talk going around about the new 8.6 Blackout cartridge developed by “Q”, so I decided to build my own customized pistol version!

I watched most of the videos featuring Q and Kevin Brittingham explain the “Why” behind system. I call it a system because the barrel has a lot to do with it also. The cartridge was developed with a mindset of Fast Twist. So the standard specification for an 8.6 Blackout barrel is a 1:3 twist; meaning one full rotation of the projectile is completed every 3 inches of barrel travel. That’s the fastest twist I have seen!
